Making An Apartment Home

Cary and I've been married for almost 1 month, and so much of the time has been spent with us working, spending time with our families, interviews, and just adjusting to each other.

Today I didn't have to work, just goof off. I met SaBra for lunch at IHOP, where I presented her with a very valuable snowglobe from Vermont. It has a moose inside it, and that lovely moose got named Monty...original, I know. ;o)

But today I also had a follow-up interview with a company I have already once interviewed at early in the week. Ethos, is a very nice company. However, I just don't know if it is a place I could be happy at. The benefits include a 10 minute drive (cut the drive to Plano in half), and a more office-type job.

The interview went well, I spoke with Bill for about 45 minutes. Not bad! But again, I still left there thinking that it just might not be the place for me. But I was excited that there was interest in things other than veterinary work...

For the evening, Cary and I got to go to Baan Thai, and then off to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to return items and get exchanges. We bought a microwave dish cover (collapsible!) and a rolling pin; because I can predict my future as a baker.... ;o)

We spent the rest of the evening enjoying books at Half Price Books and visiting Petland and going ga-ga over the cute puppies and kittens. What a way to spend a night as a married wife!
