Disney On Ice

As a special treat, Oma and I took Brylee to her first Disney On Ice adventure on February 12.  Knowing that Brylee couldn't quite comprehend what we were talking about up to that day, Brenda and I were far too excited.  It was as if we became the little girls eager to see our favorite Disney characters.  Brenda insisted on the best seats available, which gave us second row on the right side of the stage, and we most certainly were not disappointed!!

Of course the event happened in the middle of our move to a new rental home, so it as a nice, welcoming relaxing time for the girls, while the guys did a little moving and hopefully a little relaxing.

Our adventure started with a little workout with The Incredibles:

Once Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy came out onto the ice, Brylee was so excited.  She was so close to her favorite characters!  As soon as they left the ice though, you heard her ask, "Where Minnie go?" and "Where Goofy go?"

Up next was Alice In Wonderland:

Then we saw Captain Hook and Smee, as well as the Tic Toc Croc.  Brylee knows them well from the Disney Junior show, Jake and the Neverland Pirates (we also LOVE the pirate band that sings at the end of each episode)

Then she was excited to see Tinkerbell:
 And Peter Pan!

After their long adventure, The Lion King came next.  I am ashamed to say that B has not seen this movie yet, just because it is a little bit 'darker' than other movies, but it is one of my absolute favorites, and seeing this performance brought it back to me.

And performances by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:

 Aladdin and the Genie

 The Little Mermaid:
And my favorite of the princesses, Rapunzel:

 And Tiana:

There were no single skates for Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella, but they joined the large group for the concluding dance skate.

This is the view I had of the kid the entire time.  She loved standing in her Oma's lap and watching, mouth agape the whole performance.

And on Monday, B got a surprise from her T, a selection of outfits to wear that we had intended to be for her to wear to the show, but unfortunately did not ship out on time.  B still loves to wear them, though!

Thank you Brenda for making the evening such a fun, wonderful time!!!  Girls' days are so much fun!
