Vacation Time Has Begun!

Trip to Dallas , Day 1 timeline:

4:30 a.m.: Wake up at to get ready to head to airport.

6:00 a.m.: Get to Cary's parents' house so we can hug Brenda good-bye and have Gary drive us to bus station.

7:30 a.m.: Catch bus from Portland to Boston

10:00 a.m.: after getting through security at Boston Logan, we observe that Brylee is getting hungry. I didn't bother packing pediasure in her bag due to security, as well as the fact she refuses to take any milk in any form except for bottle. So we find the McDonald's inside the airport and purchase food.

11:00 a.m.: Eagerly wait by the gate while Groups 1, 2, and 3 board the flight My nerves are pretty frazzled by now, but Brylee looks excited to get on that cool 'bird'

12:30 p.m.: Brylee insists on checking out mommy's new earphones instead of letting her watch the beginning of True Grit. So instead, I switch the sound to music and try to read my new book, Percy Jackson.

2:00 p.m.: We finally get Brylee settled in for a nap and ended up being super short, as the nice guy by the window apologetically had to get up to go to the restroom.

3:00 p.m.: Much to my happiness, we touch down and make our way off the plane to find Poppy sitting at the baggage claim waiting for us. Brylee's shy but excited face was very happy to see him. As we drove home, we continuously hear her cry out, "Poppy! Poppy!" just trying to make sure he was still with us.

4:00 p.m.: Ukelele practice, where Brylee decides she doesn't need any lessons and sings "Yeah yeah" very loudly while strumming the tiny instrument.

5:00 p.m.: T-Ma (or Appa currently) makes it home from work, dotes on Brylee for several minutes, and then we head off to dinner: Logan's. Yum!

7:00 p.m.: After a cache, we head home to get in some equestrian practice

7:30-ish p.m.: Go hunt one of the clever caches that dad hid: After while, Croc-o-dial.

8:00 p.m.: Come home to find Brylee playing with chalk on the sidewalk.

8:30-ish p.m.--Brylee tries to kiss kitty goodnight and heads off to bed, her parents not far behind her. It has been a very long day!
